Q: When during a build should we schedule the cleaning?
A: There are typically two cleans on a project: a rough clean after drywall and major mechanical work (removes most dust and debris), and a final clean after paint and trim (turnover-ready). Most GCs book us for both. Schedule the rough clean as soon as the build is dust-tight — we work around your trades.
Q: Do you provide insurance documentation for our project file?
A: Yes. Monarch Cleaning Inc. is WorkSafeBC-insured. We provide insurance certificates, service logs, and before/after photos for your project records — useful for GC reporting, developer handoff, and lender draws.
Q: What’s included in a final clean?
A: Inside cabinets, drawers, ovens, fridges (if installed), dishwasher exteriors, microwave interiors, light fixtures, vents, switches, baseboards, all glass, and inside windows. Walls spot-cleaned. Floors vacuum + mop. The unit is turnover-ready when we leave.
Q: Do you remove construction debris?
A: We handle light residual debris — dust, paper, packaging waste. Heavy construction waste (drywall scraps, lumber, fixtures) should be removed by your crew before we arrive. We coordinate the handoff so we’re not waiting on dumpsters and you’re not paying us to.
Q: How quickly can you mobilize across Vancouver Island?
A: From our Nanaimo base we mobilize anywhere on Vancouver Island — Victoria, Courtenay, Campbell River, Parksville, Duncan — typically within 5–7 business days of booking. Multi-day projects get a dedicated crew that stays through completion.
